You. Us.

As promised, we want to ring in this gift-giving season with a little gift-giving of our own!

L and I wanted to give away something that you could only get from us...Love. But, it turns out people are giving that away by the gallons! Really, just by the buckets full!

So instead we made you these:

Handmade tags that we made with our hands.

I know, right?!

We took this stuff, which we had laying around the house...and the store:

...and made Gift Tags for your four most extravagant gifts. They are very fine. They don't involve a drop of hot glue (all hand sewn buttons), and L machine-sewed the fabric on the back...oh yeah, and there is fabric on the back!

I guess you could use them for what ever you'd like; we hung them up and thought they looked pretty good like this:

However, as with all extremely thoughtful and exorbitant gifts, only one person gets them. So here's what you do:

Post a comment.

Wait until Monday the 7th of December.

Watch the Drawing.

When your comment gets picked email us your address.

Wait a day or two...or four.

Receive our heartfelt, hand-forged, heavenly tags to pin on your shirt, or slap on a box, or donate to the Smithsonian. Ya know, Wah Eva.

Happy Christmas Everyone!

~P

Oh Yeah, and there are a lot of new people reading 'cause Lisa listed our factual Thanksgiving post on this blog HERE. Well, let this be our welcome to you, all of you! Whether you're Strangers or Friends, Cousins or Cousins of Cousins, come often and get yourselves some tags out of it.

This are very pretty. I am not crafty and this seems unbelievably difficult to make. Glad someone knows how.

I am loving your blog!! I haven't posted any comments yet, but I couldn't pass up a chance to win a gorgeous tag! Oh, and I wanted to mention that I copied your idea to make a collage out of things from trips like ticket stubs, brochures etc. My collages from France, England and Acapulco are awesome!!

Patrick- I met some of your friends in my store on Sunday. Adam + alot of people. They totally named dropped in order to get a discount from me, and it totally worked! I just couldn't say no. i love the tags! I have a large tree in my dining room I would like to hang them on, or maybe give them for presents, not on presents-as the actual present!

If you wanted more than that...you should have been more specific about what to comment about. HAHA!

The tags are cute. You guys and your creative minds...*sigh* I wish I could be more like that.

My, My, MY...You two never cease to amaze me! I prefer to NOT blog and just read yours instead! I think I should just send you all of my "stuff just lying around", to see what you can make out of it! But then, I don't know what you could do with Wal-Mart receipts, rock hard licorice and sucked on sucker sticks...But I bet it would be BRILLIANT!

Because Utah beat BYU and I am still sad and somewhat bitter, and I have sent in more heartfelt begging entries than anyone in the history of drawings, I want to win. And there is a chance, small, albiet that you could get it back on a special present to either of you, if you are getting a present I mean. Love forever, Momma

I'm going to comment (because they are adorable and I really do want them), but I really think you should rig the drawing and give them to your mother. I mean, look at her comment, she really wants it and she has never won before. It's Christmas. Come on.
And if you have no Christmas spirit and don't rig it, if my name is picked, I would like to give them to your mother. See? I'm just like that :)
Oh, and I tagged you on my blog if you are interested.

i also think the "mom" need some serious love. cougars are blue, the color of your face when you CHOKE. it is just going to happen time and time again. give her some tags for the pain now and in the future.

Ozzy wanted to say thank you for the gift, but he wondered if next time you wouldn't mind giving him a pan of sticky buns instead. He can't eat the candle...
