The coolest thing to happen to me in my entire life, next to having kids and getting married, blah blah blah, was meeting Carol Burnett. Because this show was my whole life as a kid. My WHOLE LIFE. This scene was the best, we still quote it. And "As the Stomach Churns" and when Tim goes into the painting and gets kicked in the nose by the horse?? A wealth of gems. And Carol was nicer than anyone I had ever met in my entire life and told great stories about Wayne Newton.

I hated this show growing up. I always turned it off and it seemed like it was ALWAYS on. But now I see that I just didn't appreciate it. Kinda like "A Christmas Story", which depressed me (yes, as a child) even when I caught a glimpse of it. Now, it is my favorite Christmas movie, I love it.
I met Carol Burnett too when I worked at Sundance. I was completely awe-struck because I also idolized her and felt all cool because I had played two roles that she had as well. And here, I didn't even know she was on "Momma's Family"!
Oh and for the last post, grill cheese and tomato soup with sour cream...yum!
