Dear gentle readers,
Please forgive us our blogging absence over the last few weeks. Life on Garden Street has been a little, well, harried (and soon will be from Garden Street no more!). January--what's left of it--is shaping up to be a big month for us, and so we must beg your pardon as we disappear for just a little longer.
On the docket this month:
* Finish our adoption application.
* Move (up by the Balsers - yahoo!).
* Host and entertain Patrick's parents.
* Start another semester.
* Finish various and sundry writing projects.
So, this is a bit of a send off. We'll write when we can, but no later than February, and soon we'll have a fantastic home makeover to blog about! Thanks for a terrific 2008, and here's to an even better new year, with babies and books and houses for all!

Keeping my fingers crossed for the babies and house makeovers and books for all.
How exciting! We're all breathlessly awaiting your next entry. . .
We wait with bated breath! So excited to see the new place, and certainly praying for Beck to have a new cousin! We love you guys!
Sounds like it will be a pretty exciting year for you guys! Let me know if you need any help over the next few weeks with the move. I don't have any trips planned until mid Feb. so I am available is needed.

That adoption application is a nightmare! Good luck. It's so exciting. I'll be thinking of you guys and praying for a baby to find you!
Ah man, I never got to lay eyes on the Garden Street digs. Well, I'm sure your new place will be just as adorable and maybe some day I will make it up there to check it out.
I'm so excited for you guys to become parents, it is wonderful and completely exhausting at the same time.
Patrick, your cameo at last night's get together elicited the most laughs of the evening, even more than my enormous Barbie hair and Adam and Melinda's "Tall Tales" kiss. It was priceless to see Cory's face as he sat there listening to you say you were a monkey's uncle if he was there. It was perfect and your personal messages to everyone left us all thoroughly embarrassed...so, job well done!
